Today photography is dead

By convention we have chosen to give birth year with the 1839 photograph with Daguerre. Let’s skip the novel concerning the authorship of the photograph between Daguerre and Niepce, because the story would be too long.
With a photograph of Wiliam Fox Talbort, Paul Delacroche said the famous phrase: From today painting is dead!
It ‘really happened? No, I do not believe it!
So even when it came out for the first time the first camera at all digital I think the film would have died, but it was not so!
When someone asks me if analog photography is dead will answer by telling the story of the critic Delacroche!
